Bison Trek
Come see Buddy the Bison and our bison herd. Check in with photos and win prizes!
Adventure Trek
Take a hayrack tour through our bison and elk pasture and get a chance to feed our bison ambassador Nakoma! Times available everyday through August.
Private Animal Feeding & Encounter
Visit the Big 5, including our bison and elk herd in the pasture. Get up close and learn about their care.
Private Animal Meet & Greet
Meet our bison ambassador Nakoma and other awesome animals like otters, longhorns, horses and raccoons.
Lodging
Escape for a weekend or longer in comfortable lodging next to the bison and elk pasture.
Wild Nights
Every Friday June - September the Park is open until 8:30 p.m. with $7 admission after 5:30 p.m. Enjoy Wildfire Concerts, Critters & Cocktails, Jr. Naturalist kids program and Night Hikes!

This kid-friendly learning experience features a presentation on Our Buddy the Bison, animal ambassador encounter with Nakoma and a craft or activity.
JR Naturalist
In Insect Bingo, learn how to use an insect sweep net to collect insects within the Park. Then, Mark Dubois with the Illinois Insect Society will lead you through a game of insect bingo! Ages 7-12
Fish Tagging Program
If you catch a fish at the Park with a red, white, or blue tag, remove the tag and redeem it in the Gift Shop inside the Visitor Center for a prize!
Kayaking
Join a group kayak adventure or take advantage of half-price kayak rentals July 4th and 5th!
WPP Book Club
