Wildfire Concerts at Wild Nights

Grab your friends and bring your lawn chairs to experience a live concert in the great outdoors! There will be a special Keeper Chat with a Wildlife Prairie Park Animal Ambassador during intermission and the animal trails and Prairie Zephyr Train will be open until 8 p.m. Enjoy a night in the wild at Wildlife Prairie Park.

Barry Cloyd and Band

Barry Cloyd is a Midwestern based, award-winning, touring singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist who combines his original songs with traditional songs, well-known and not so well known covers. An Americana artist, Barry sticks a musical toe in all types of Roots Music waters: bluegrass and mountain music on 5-string banjo, the Delta slide of Riverboat music on Dobro, all manner of acoustic guitars, including 4-string, 6-string,12-string, high-strung, altered tuned instruments, mandolin and other things acoustic. In addition, he is a strong vocalist and a prolific songwriter. Barry Cloyd has been earning a living by touring, concerts, song-writing and performing original edu-tainment programs for the past 24 years.

He has shared the stage & recorded with many stars of the Blues and Americana worlds including members of Buddy Guys’ Band, The Byrds, Stephen Stills’ Bands, EmmyLou Harris’ Band, The Oak Ridge Boys, John Denvers’ and Dan Fogelbergs’ Bands. In addition, Barry has an on-going US/Mexican touring schedule with David Raitt, brother of Bonnie Raitt, 13 time Grammy winner. Barry is also a recording artist with 10 CD’s, the last of which, the all original “Southland”, won an award for best Americana album in 2016 which resulted in his tracks “Spirit Dance” and “Know This River” being placed in international radio rotation.

2025 Wildfire Concert Dates

The Park will be open late every Friday in June, July, August, and September. Wild Nights and Wildfire Concert admission starts at 5:30 p.m. WPP Members receive FREE Park Admission. Non-Member Admission: $7. All Day Train Tickets are $7 per person. Food and Drinks available for purchase. No outside alcohol allowed on Park premises.
