Take a Ride on the Wild Slide!
Sled down a hill with a view of the Bison and Elk pasture. Bring your own sleds or use one provided on a first come first serve basis at the Adventure Store.
Fat Biking
The larger tires make it easy for outdoor enthusiasts to cut through terrain like snow or sand. Studded tires are highly recommended. The Flood Plain Trail is groomed and ready for riders.
Cross Country Skiing
Enjoy Nature on skis this winter. We have over 2 miles of groomed trails on the West Side for XC skating.
Ice Skating on Caboose Lake
With the removal of trees and limbs, Caboose lake will be open for natural ice skating once it freezes. Warm up close by in the Recreation Center in-between skates. Bring your own skates. Ask at the Ticket Gate if the lake is open for skating.
Hiking & Snowshoeing
Go hiking or snowshoeing on our trails like the Flood Plain Trail. You may discover something you never knew or seen before!
Animal Trails
Take a hike on the Animal Trails to see what our animals do in the winter. Stop by Forest Hall Education Center to visit our ambassador animals and take a break from the winter elements.
