Little big theater in the visitor center

Junior nATURALIST SELF gUIDED EXPERIENCE
Children of all ages can enjoy a self guided educational experience of the natural world at the Park with our new JR Naturalist Booklet! Pick it up for FREE at the Ticket Gate or Gift Shop and complete the number of activities for your age. Activities include attending educational programs like Keeper Chats, JR Naturalist class, or Critters and Cookies and other engaging tasks. Once completed, go to the Gift Shop to receive your FREE JR Naturalist sticker! The JR Naturalist Badge is $5 for purchase in the Gift Shop.
Geocaching
Download the Geocaching app on your phone and hit the trails to look for treasure! Download for Apple | Download for Android
WILDLIFE Watching
Use iNaturalist or eBird to help identify wildlife that you see or hear around the Park and record your observations. Help us to continue to document our local wildlife one observation at a time!
Pokémon go
With over 30 Pokéstops and 9 Gyms, Pokémon go is a fun way to combine tech and the outdoors as you explore Wildlife Prairie Park.
Critters & Cookies
Starting in June!
Join us for a one-hour, elementary-oriented learning experience on Saturdays and Wednesdays at 12 p.m. that will include a presentation, an encounter with one of WPP’s animal ambassadors and a craft or activity.

Free for WPP Member Child; $5 for Non-Member Child.
Adult Chaperone required & free for the class.
Regular park admission fee still applies for Non-Members. WPP Members receive FREE park admission.

Critters & Coffee
November through March
Enjoy WPP's Wildly Crafted Bison Blend Coffee while learning about the weekly topic in this 45 minute adult educational program series on Saturdays and Wednesdays at 2 p.m.

Survival Skills Classes
Taught by Panther Creek Survival and Life Skills
8 Part Wilderness Survival Series
Learn the basics of outdoor survival with this 8 Part Wilderness Survival Series to increase your skills and competency in the outdoors whether you find yourself in a survival situation or go camping and hiking on a regular basis.

Complete all eight classes, you will receive a Wilderness Survivalist Certification from Panther Creek and receive a Panther Creek Survivalist patch!
Designed for ages 14+ plus scouts. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
