Celebrate Halloween with our animals by carving pumpkins for them at the Animal Enrichment Volunteer Workshop!
We want your help creating enrichment items that encourage our animals to engage in natural behaviors through exploration, foraging, problem-solving, and mental stimulation, ultimately enhancing their overall well-being.
During the workshop, our Animal Enrichment Lead will share an educational program on the important role enrichment plays in the physical and mental well-being of the animals in our care. Then see your enrichment in action as you make a special stop with one of our Park animals. Observe the animal receiving and interacting with the enrichment your group created!
Don't forget your camera! This is a unique opportunity for special animal photos. Share on social media and tag the Park for a chance to see your photo featured!
Animal Enrichment Workshops will be offered throughout the year. Each workshop will feature a different enrichment project, giving volunteers the opportunity to learn more about animal care while creating items that directly benefit the animals at Wildlife Prairie Park.
Come spend a few hours helping us create something that will make a lasting difference in the lives of our animals!
If you have any questions or have a group interested in volunteering, please email volunteer@wildlifeprairie.org.
