How you can help…
Your donation is a direct investment in your community. As a Park donor, you are giving a commitment to strengthen a Central Illinois community gem—a gem that has impacted many lives since 1978. Wildlife Prairie Park is woven into the fabric of what makes Central Illinois a great place to be. We provide educational opportunities for children and adults, a place for families to explore, and a sanctuary for our native animals. Wildlife Prairie Park is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit. The Park receives no tax revenue or subsidies, we are dependent on the generosity of people like you.
Your donation helps us to:
- Feed and provide much needed veterinary care for our 180+ animals at the park, like Molly and TR our black bears, Ruby and Milkyway our Longhorns, or Winnie our frolicking otter.
- Make improvements such as new boat ramps, maintain ecological balance of our lands and lakes, stocking lakes with fish, and provide better environments for our animals.
- Acquire new animals and provide a comfortable retirement environment for our aging animals.
- Reconstruct our animal habitats to provide the highest level of care, following the strict guidelines from our veterinarians, USFW, and USDA.
