Looking for a fun, new way to explore Wildlife Prairie Park? Pokémon GO is a great way to combine tech and the outdoors! Try to “Catch ‘Em All” on Saturday, April 25th during the Max Battle Day. With over 35 Pokéstops and 9 Gyms, and 5+ Powerspots, you can combine your strengths and items with the Pokémon Go community and your team. Winners of the prize drawings will be announced at the end of the challenge at 4PM!

1:45PM | Welcome and Kickoff

  • Meet at Forest Hall to pick up your Max Adventure Challenge Card 
  • Staff will explain the challenge you can complete for prizes.
  • Learn about Max Battles, how to complete verified tasks, and safety tips.

2:00PM | Max Adventure Challenge Begins

  • Explore the Park: walk routes, spin PokéStops, catch Pokémon, and battle.
  • Max Battle Days focus on Dynamax/Gigantamax battles at Power Spots
  • Complete your Challenge Card.

4:00PM | Challenge Ends and Prize Drawing

  • Bring your Max Adventure Challenge Card back to Forest Hall Education Center
  • Staff will verify your card and enter it in the prize drawing. 
  • Prizes include Wildlife Prairie Park and Pokémon merchandise, including 3 Prismatic Blister Sticker Packs and 3 Mega Evolution Phantasmal Flames booster packs.
  • Small consolation prizes for all participants who complete the Challenge Card.

What to Bring & Tips

  • Charged device + optional power bank
  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • Water and snacks if needed
  • Parents & teens are encouraged to help younger players with Max Battles
  • Most importantly — have fun exploring the park and enjoying the Pokémon GO community!

Membership Swap Weekend! Members of Peoria Zoo, Peoria Riverfront Museum, Peoria PlayHouse Children’s Museum, and Wildlife Prairie Park will receive FREE ENTRY to the Park on April 24 - 26, 2026.
