Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt

• Available Friday - Sunday

• FREE with Park admission

• There are 20 large, wooden, numbered eggs hidden throughout the Park (from the Train Depot to the animal trails).

• Once you locate a numbered egg, the large wood eggs that are numbered, write the number found on the egg in the matching description below.

• When you have located 15 out of 20 eggs, turn in your completed form to the Visitor Center for a chance to win a Private Meet & Greet with an animal!

• Need a hint? Ask a staff member for a helpful clue on where to look.

Daily animal Programs

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visit the Bunnies in the Forest Hall Education Center

11 a.m. Otter Keeper Chat and feeding at the Otter Habitat

1 p.m. Keeper Chat with an Animal Ambassador near the Wolf Overlook

3 p.m. Wolf Encounter on the Wolf Overlook

Easter Egg Hunt

Find the golden egg and win an Easter prize basket on Saturday, April 4, 2026! A golden egg will be hidden in each egg hunt. The Easter Bunny will be making an appearance! Get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny while he hangs out at the Train Depot.

• FREE with paid admission. Members receive free admission.

• Easter Egg Hunts will take place at the Train Depot

• Registration Required. No walk ups unless otherwise noted.

• The Egg Hunt is recommended for 1 to 12 year olds.

The Prairie Zephyr Train will open at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2026. Train schedule here.

THE STATION

The Station will be serving breakfast wraps, homemade biscuits and gravy for breakfast, as well as the rest of their delicious menu for lunch! Food will be available for purchase on Saturday, April 4, 2026 starting at 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. or until supplies last!

Gramma Nana's Kitchen

Gramma Nana’s Kitchen food truck will be at the Park with cookies, hot chocolate and hot coffee available for purchase on Saturday, April 4, 2026 starting at 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. or until supplies last!

Easter Brunch

Celebrate with your family and friends at Wildlife Prairie Park on Sunday April 5, 2026 and enjoy Easter Brunch, catered by Hy-Vee!

Your Easter Brunch ticket includes tax, gratuity, and Park admission for the day.

Choose the brunch time with the menu that best suits you. Brunch seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with tables accommodating up to 8 guests.
