Boy Scout Pre-Requirement Opportunities

April 27th- During Pow Wow Event- Indian Lore
-Opportunities to complete badge requirements: 3d, part of 4a, and 5a at the event.
-Merit Badge Counselor will be available at specific times/meeting places for scouts to present, explain, or otherwise “show your stuff” for other Indian Lore badge requirements. Counselor can sign off on completed badge requirements: 1, 2, 3a-d, and 4b-c
-Scouts will be able to coordinate with Counselor to complete 4a after event

July 13th- During Art in the Wild Event- Mammal
-Opportunities to complete badge requirements: 3a, 4b, and begin 5 at the event
– Merit Badge Counselor will be available at specific times/meeting places for scouts to present, explain, or otherwise “Show your stuff” for other Mammal Study badge requirements. Counselor can sign off on completed badge requirements: 1, 2, 3a-c, 4a-g, 5
-Scouts will be able to coordinate with Counselor before and after event to complete 5.

September 21st- During Harvest Day Event- Nature
-Opportunities to complete badge requirements: 4b1&2, 4c1&3, 4d1
-Merit Badge Counselor will be available at specific time/meeting places for scouts to present, explain, or otherwise “Show your stuff” for other Nature badge requirements.
-Scouts will be able to coordinate with Counselor to complete other Nature badge requirements

$5 per session plus admission for the day

Girl Scout Night in the Wild

Any Girl Scout (Daisy, Brownie, Junior, or Cadet) can sign up for this exclusively Girl Scout event! (Chaperones and troop leaders are welcome too!)

Our Night in the Wild includes a private tour by a Naturalist, supper, breakfast, an Amazing Animals program, crafts, s’mores and so much more! Bring your sleeping bag for a one of a kind night in one of our wild banquet rooms. There are a limited amount of spots, so hurry and reserve yours today!

Cost:
$30 per scout
$25 per leader
Members receive a 10% discount
All scouts must have adult supervision. 1 adult for every 3 scouts is required.

Vegetarian and Gluten Free meals available upon request.

Advanced payment and registration is required. Must have names of all attendees when calling to register at 309-676-09980 ext. 312

Private troop badge days

Join us for a night at Wildlife Prairie Park! (Scouts, chaperones, troop leaders and family members are welcome too!)

 Our Night in the Wild includes a private tour by a Naturalist, supper, breakfast, an animal program, crafts, s’mores and so much more! Bring your sleeping bag for a one of a kind night in one of our wild banquet rooms.

Cost: $25 per person with a minimum of 20 participants

All scouts must have adult supervision. 1 adult for every 5 scouts is required. 

A nonrefundable $100 deposit is due at time of scheduling. For large groups, advanced payment is required. Reservations must be made at least 2 months in advance.
