What memberships are available?

You can see the memberships available on our General Memberships Page. Or, go right to our eStore to pick out the right membership for you!

How long is my membership good for?

All memberships at Wildlife Prairie Park are good for a year (12 consecutive months) from the date of purchase. For example, if you purchased a membership on 8/2/2014,  your membership would not expire until 8/1/2015.

What does my membership get me?

Your Wildlife Prairie Park membership comes standard with general, free, unlimited Park admission for the length of the membership. (Please note that this does not include free admission to our special events UNLESS otherwise advertised for a specific event). Your membership also grants you a 10% discount on food, at gift shops, and on lodging accommodations. You also get a subscription to our monthly eNewsletter. Other benefits such as special event incentives are announced upon event descriptions.

What comes in my membership packet?

When you receive your membership packet, you will receive membership cards (if you renew, please let us know if you are in need of new cards), train tickets, and guest passes (all memberships except the Member Plus 3 receive a set number of guest passes).

How will I know when my membership is expired?

The month prior to expiration, you will receive a letter in the mail saying thank you for your membership with us this past year. The letter will say when your membership expires, will come with a form to fill out to renew, and will include a self-addressed return envelope. If you do not renew with this renewal notice, you will receive an email renewal notice, and finally in the month your membership expires you will receive a phone call asking if you intend to renew your membership.

Where can I purchase a membership?

You can purchase your Wildlife Prairie Park membership by mailing us a check with a membership form indicating which membership you are interested in purchasing. Please note your mailing address, phone number, and email. You may also order over the phone with a credit card, purchase your membership in person at the Park, or purchase your membership online by clicking here.

How long does it take to get my membership packet?

If you purchase your membership in the Park, you receive your packet at the time of purchase. If you purchase your membership over the phone, online, or by mail, it typically takes 1-2 weeks to process and mail out those memberships.

I have not yet received my packet, but want to take advantage of my membership. Can I do this?

Most definitely! Once you purchase your membership online, over the phone, or by mail and you have not received your packet yet, you may still utilized your membership. Simply let the people at the front gate know your name and they can look you up in our system and grant you the general admission to the Park.

I lost my membership card, what do I do?

Replacement membership cards are $5.00 each. However, you have the option to receive a free, temporary membership card. Once your membership is up for renewal, you may receive new membership cards free of charge. Please indicate that you need new cards at that time. Replacement cards can be purchased at the Park or online.

How does automatic renewal work?

Automatic renewal gives you the option to renew your membership the second it expires. If you wish to participate in automatic renewal, you will need to purchase your membership using a credit card and make sure to indicate that you wish to have your membership renewed automatically when it expires next, this option is found on membership registration forms. You can also register for automatic renewal online or by calling (309)676-0998 and asking to speak with our membership coordinator.

How do I cancel automatic renewal?

To cancel automatic renewal you will need to notify us or submit a request to cancel your automatic renewal 30 days before your membership is set to expire. You can cancel automatic renewal by calling (309)676-0998 and asking to speak with our membership coordinator. Automatic renewals cannot be cancelled after the transaction has been ran. Cancel your automatic renewal subscription here.
